But don't tell my heart, my achy breaky heart
I just don't think it'd understand
And if you tell my heart, my achy breaky heart
In 1992 when this song came out, so did these "boots"! I wore them:
out on the town
dancin at Midnight Rodeo
dancin at Midnight Rodeo
to work on Fridays
with jeans and shorts
Matt, (one of my fav 5 yr olds)
would request I wore them everyday,
because he gave them their name,
his request had a little pull!

When Colby was little, and they weren't on my feet, she would play with them.
In high school she wore them as a costume thing.
In college, she had me mail them to her,
so that she could go "two-steppin" in them.
6 moves later and 2 years married,
she is ready for them to return to their rightful owner.
Do we all have a little hoarder in us? I'm not wanting to get rid of them. I'm almost certain I will never wear them again, we took tons of pictures of them, now I can make a cute layout!
I do not have room to store them, so why is letting go,
breaking my "achy breaky heart"?
I keep pondering, what clever artsy thing could I do with them?
Please, let me know of any good ideas!
PEM!!!!!!!! AHHHHH Send them to me in Texas...we want them!!!!! HERE we still
ReplyDeletewear these...ok, I don't but I would.
I LOVE YOU! XOXO
There is a reason you don't want to let go of these boots....they're gorgeous and they have "history"! I think you need to put them on a pedestal, light them, have some motion detection contraption music thing that comes on as people pass by. Are you kidding?! Letting them go?!!?
ReplyDeleteNo ma'm.
