I'm so blessed to have a daughter and son in law that welcome my visits and encourage me to stay awhile!
In January Holly drove to Dothan to give Queen a "90th Birthday" party! Sweet Queen!!! That meant she had to drive all the way home to Houston, and I "hitched" a ride. The visit with Holly was grand and a little perk was: I was able to meet all Lisa's boys and see her house. Then Holly and Lisa drove me halfway to San Antonio where Colby met us and took me to her new "casa"!!! That's right, in Dec of 2011, they bought their first house. So proud and excited for them. Doug is working at Blueprint Ministries while Colby was still searching for a full-time job. She actually had 2 interviews while I was out there. In the interim she was babysitting and taking care of her Grammar. While she babysat, these little darlings...
I did a little retail therapy, very little!
Most of the time I ran a few errands, then stayed with Colby and the boys! We read, talked, played outside, made lists, cooked mashed potatoes, and just enjoyed being together. I wish I had not waited so long to blog about this trip, now my memory is fading!
We had a few PINTEREST moments...

We went to this amazing place, IKEA. I don't really know what else to say, just WOW!
Doug came home and right away put those under the counter lights up, again WOW!
My blast from the past dinner, at Chueys!!!
Look what I found on sale, couldn't resist.
Love this angle, I need to remember this!
I read these while I was there. We found several books when we went "thrift" store shopping!
Sweet Doug brought this window home for us, Yay Pinterest!
We went to this neat little French Bakery one day for breakfast with, Robyn and Tracy!
Sweet daughter's!
I was able to visit with Lisa, Tracy and Melinda while out there. Next time, hopefully I get to see a few more friends. Oh my goodness, also we went to La Fogata's with Cory and Evie. FUN!
We had Debbie and Dwayne over for dinner and I don't think I took one pic that night, drag!
Hard to believe that was just 2 months ago. Seems like it's been too long since I've seen my kids.
One month and I get to go again, Woohoo!!!
