Oh, No He Didn't!

This morning I am tidying up around the house, washing clothes and in general
hanging out in my p.j.'s.  I hear a knock at the door (unusual for someone to
knock on our front door).  I throw Scott some shorts, he heads to the door, I
grab Tucker (so he won't attempt to go play on Woodland), then Scott opens
the door.  It went something like this:

Scott:        "Hi"

Stranger:   "Good morning sir, I'm ________, and we are working hard to get
                   your vote."

Scott:         "I'm sorry it took me so long to answer the door, I went to the
                    back door first."

Stranger:    "No problem, we would like to know if we have your support and
                    if we could put a sign in your yard?"

Scott:         "Sure, "I'M SORRY I'M SUCH A MESS, just haven't had a shower
                    or anything yet!"

Stranger:     "Uh, well ok, Thanks, ya hear."

The door closes and I.m thinking, "HE JUST APOLIGIZED TO A STRANGER
FOR THE WAY HE LOOKS!"  Oh, YES he DID!!!
