A few weeks back a friend of mine posted a tutorial on her blog.
Kendall Boggs is so talented and shared her creativity in tutorial form,
on "how to" "Embellish that shirt".
As per usual, I go on one of my missions!
I want one of those shirts, but I don't sew.
First I post on FB, the blog entry and Who sews, question.
A sweet friend comments "she does and loves to".
Little did we know, this simple little project would turn into,
"Kinda a big deal"!
Rebecca said she would rather get the shirt herself,
so she did. That was a big fat favor, all by itself.
Well, who would have thunk it?
It was too small, even in the arms,
If it's one thing thats small on me, IT'S ARMS!
So, I dreaded calling Rebecca, to tell her,
I even tried to figure out how to enjoy wearing it, too small!
Then decided, honesty is the best policy...
When I called, she basically consoled my dissapointment,
by saying: "Go get another shirt, make sure it fits, and I will just REDO".
Oh, wait, then last night after Rebecca txt'd me to say
"Your shirts DONE, again, lol!"
She decided it would be best for her, if her hubby voluteered to
"drop it off, at the gym, on his way "class"
On my way to the gym this am, I receive a txt from R:
"My nutcase husband....I love him... took your shirt to GOLDS gym!!!!!
And now he is already at class!
There won't be many reading blog, but just for clarity,
I attend Paradise Fitness for Women.
So after all that, I am now the proud owner,
THANKS to amazingly talented friends:
Kendall Boggs and Rebbeca Sharp
of an authentic "Embellish that Shirt"!
